About Dr. Morgan
Originally from a small farming community in Fairfield, Iowa, Dr. Morgan was inspired to pursue a career in oral surgery by his love of science and his desire to work directly with his hands to help patients. Dr. Morgan met Dr. Morio in residency at the University of Iowa and decided to open their practice together in Hiawatha to make a positive impact in the lives of patients in a small-town community. Dr. Morgan has been passionate about offering the best and safest care to the Hiawatha, IA, area ever since.
Dr. Morgan’s love for what he does fuels his promise to always treat every single one of his patients to the best of his ability, every time.
Education
Dr. Morgan started his collegiate studies at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and transferred after his first year to the University of Iowa Dental School.
Residency
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Morgan completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2005. While in his residency program, Dr. Morgan obtained a PhD in Oral Science while working in a neuroscience lab.
Certifications & Affiliations
Dr. Morgan is a member of the Linn County Dental Society, a fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Personal Life & Interests
Dr. Morgan is married and a proud father of four children, Jacob, Ella, Henry, and Gianna.
